Notable African American PowerPoint Presentations

The kids began work this week on their 5-Slide PowerPoint Presentations on Notable African Americans. Each child has chosen a African American to research and is gathering information to go into the report. Using this medium to do a report is relatively new to them! Mrs. Pencek is helping guide them through the process during our computer time.

On Wednesday they began creating a "skeleton" of the PowerPoint. This report will contain information on why they chose the person, his or her early life, family, adult life, contributions, successes, and challenges. They are also finding websites about the person. They are catching on quickly and doing a wonderful job on these! I can't wait for the final products!!!
